We're a mission-driven, culture-carrying community that provides high-quality pies and high-quality jobs. We built a business model around taking care of those that take care of us: paying our workforce a living wage, offering humane benefits, listening, and treating them with the dignity and respect they deserve. This is the single clearest way to say to our workforce, ‘we value you.’ And that’s important to us and our brand, which is a symbol - & - a symbol that means Unity and is about uniting the working class. All of our work counts for nothing if our people cannot live on the wages we pay them.
What the pandemic did was highlight issues that have been problems in the restaurant industry for decades: low wages, lack of benefits, dangerous working conditions, the cyclical nature of laying off and rehiring staff when it's convenient for employers' balance sheets.

&pizza aims to upend expectation. Through its fight for a living wage, its ‘Tribe First’ philosophy, and its culture of individuality, community, and inclusivity, &pizza is dramatically changing established paradigms within the industry. We fight for our employee - affectionately referred to as The Tribe - paying well above industry standards, promoting individuality and togetherness, and enacting a strict ‘No Ceiling’ employment philosophy. We believe in better food quality, serving local and organic where possible. We believe in community involvement, reflecting the local surroundings in each store design, and joining in with localized charity efforts in each community we serve.

Team is wonderful! Very welcoming and encouraging to a newbie like me. getting thrown into the late-night shifts and seeing very busy and abnormally chaotic nights was helpful to find what pace and rhythm I should be striving for! I look forward to improving my technique and efficiency on the line and in the prep work.
